We're more than half-way through the five-day Art Jewelry Entrepreneurship workshop for the Apparel and Fashion Technology (AFT) class at the Technological University of the Philippines. The 40-hour course is sponsored by the TUP, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the Unified Peoples' Initiatives for Community-Organization Building (UPICOB), and the St. Gabriel's Workshop (of the Pilgrim Brothers of St. Francis) with the objective of giving the AFT students an edge in fashion and apparel entrepreneurship. This is the 12th year of my advocacy for underprivileged women and other marginalized sectors of society through the Art Jewelry Entrepreneurship Workshop.
