THREE high school students are reported killed in a shooting incident in San Jose National High School (SJNHS), Tacloban City. Five other students were brought to different hospitals for bullet wounds.

The incident happened at around 9:00 AM, June 22, 2026.

Initial reports say that 1 of the suspects, also a student of the school, is now arrested and in custody of police authorities. The suspect is 15 years old and in Grade 9.

One other suspect, allegedly the companion of the arrested suspect is at large, as of this report.

Authorities are currently in a manhunt.
