Saddlepin, the folk singer-songwriter project of 24-year-old musician Kevin Reyes, has officially released his debut album All That Remains on all major digital streaming platforms under his record label, unstable records.
The ten-track record is a deeply personal exploration of grief and pain, chronicling Kevin’s emotional journey after the collapse of a long-term relationship. More than just heartbreak, the album reflects on a life shaped by sorrow and resilience, expanding Saddlepin’s signature folk-inspired sound to new creative depths.
All That Remains highlights Saddlepin’s lyrical storytelling, his intricate guitar work, and his willingness to experiment with sounds not often tied to his music, such as the harmonica, electric piano, and other new textures. This bold progression offers listeners both familiarity and surprise which balances his raw folk roots with fresh sonic landscapes.

The album carries a diverse storytelling arc across its tracks. Heart-rending yet hook-driven songs like You’re Still Home and One-Way Ticket stand alongside stripped-down folk ballads such as Remnants, Hide and Seek, and Despite Everything. Meanwhile, By Your Side and Five Minutes revisit what fans know as “The Saddlepin Sound,” and songs like Juaning Street, Re: Hard Launch, and Always Will chart unexplored territory, unveiling an exciting new phase of his artistry.
Saddlepin is the folk singer-songwriter project of Kevin Reyes, who hails from Calbayog City, Philippines. In addition to Saddlepin, Kevin also fronts the Manila-based indie rock band Benchfly as its vocalist, lead guitarist, and producer. He founded Saddlepin in 2020 during the pandemic after meeting fellow Calbayognon artist Rob Equiza, a singer-songwriter and the founder of Cainta-based indie record label Jam Lemon Records. He credits Rob for encouraging him to launch Saddlepin and for motivating him to pursue the writing, recording, and production of what would eventually become his debut album.
With All That Remains, Saddlepin establishes himself as one of the Philippines’ most promising new singer-songwriters, offering an album that is both intimate and universally resonant.
