BBM-SARA tandem is assured of support from Negros Occidental with provincial and local executives, federation of sugarcane planters and people’s organizations signing a Manifesto.
The tandem of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and vice presidential candidate Inday Sara Duterte gets the support of Negros Occidental. The assurance came thru a “Manifesto of Support” issued as signed by leaders of people’s organizations and executives of provincial and local government units.
The Manifesto declared “unequivocal and unwavering support” to BBM-Sara tandem in the May 9, 2022 elections, believing in the message of unity and love of country amid hardships and heartaches that the Filipinos experienced where “the call to stand together is a positive first step toward collective healing, growth and progress.”
The leaders, as stated in the Manifesto, commend the humility and steady resolve to serve the countrymen, settling pride and self-interest aside, opting to join hands rather than deprive the Filipino people of one or the other.
It was further stated in the same Manifesto that the “very act of coming together speaks volumes about their commitment to public service, which every leader should strive to emulate.”
“By joining forces and working together for the betterment of the nation, it is the Filipino that ultimately wins,” the Manifesto concluded.
