Calbayog City – Gadgaran Integrated School (GIS) representative Eugene Franco garnered 275 points to be champion of the Tourism Quiz Bee 2015 conducted at the Calbayog City Convention Center in the afternoon of October 07, 2015.
Cyrille Kate Caparas of Trinidad National High School and Zyramae Omayon of Tarabucan National High School bagged second and third places, respectively.
The quiz bee have three categories which each category having different sets of questions and point credits for every correct answer such that the Easy Category questions give 5 points, 10 points in the Moderate Category and 15 points for the Difficult Category.
Franco achieved a high of 105 out of 180 points in the “difficult” category to seal in the championships after achieving perfect scores in the first two levels - 60 points in the “easy” and 110 points in the “moderate” categories.
