“The first batch of our LET reviewees in APEX – Catarman, Northern Samar division encouraged us to get on and extend classes to Calbayog City. We have 37 reviewees in that batch and with Japhet Tendoy as the batch highest-rater, most of them were high-raters, in the recently concluded LET in the year 2016,” Nenial narrated.

Tendoy who is currently employed with the University of Eastern Philippines, in an interview, told Calbayog Journal that “I only have so much to thank Ms. Nenial and Ms. Dadap for the opportunity provided and the personal touch they have given us in the duration of our review course. In my journey towards being a teacher, I have seen in them the best dedication that a mentor can offer their students. During extensive reviews, there are times when we have to spend overnight with them inside our classrooms (spreading cardboards and newspapers for bed mats and using our backpacks as pillows). Our labors paid off because most items in the examinations were taken during our review.”

“I have long left the teaching profession for other job assignments, but once a teacher, always a teacher!” I am thankful to Ms. Nenial for taking me in to her APEX branch venture because I am back to my comfort-zone. I just love being a teacher particularly when your students seem to get it right from you as manifested by their recent performance in the recently released LET results. I will strive hard to make our reviewees achieve the highest that they can reach in their chosen profession.” Dadap shared.

With APEX Calbayog accepting reviewees from schools in other towns and cities, Nenial further informed that enrolment is on-going and review classes for other courses like the Principal’s Test, Criminology and the Civil Service Exam will soon be starting in time. Enrollees are advised to visit APEX Calbayog Office at Chua Building for details and further information. (CJ/JMM)
